Ozark, Nixa place trio on First-Team

Ozark and Nixa landed three players apiece on the All-Central Ozark Conference Large Schools Division Soccer First-Team.
The Tigers, who won the COC Large Schools Division championship, are represented on the first team by senior midfielders Zach Moore and Jordan Burns and senior defender Andrew Presnell.
The Eagles’ first-teamers are senior forward Kaleb Romero, senior defender Nathan Massey and sophomore defender Luke Moore.
Carthage’s first-team choices are junior forward Joe Curti and senior defender Matt Robinson.
Branson has first-team selections in senior defender Roman Gomez and junior midfielder Fernando Cedeno.
Neosho’s first-teamers include senior goal-keeper Jake Welsh and junior forward Jared Hill.
Willard’s first-teamers are senior forward Tyler Sexon and junior defender Jackson Patillo.
Webb City junior defender Ryan Busick completes the first team.

NIXA — Nixa blanked Springfield Central 8–0 on Monday, as Lauren Moats recorded a hat trick.
The Lady Eagles received one goal apiece from Kesley Bartel, Kelsey Haist, Rachel Murphy and Chandler Maddie. Murphy, Chandler, Courtney Frerichs and Ashlyn Robillard all had assists.
Ozark prevails
Ozark edged Bolivar 3–1.

Parkview outlasts Nixa (Soccer roundup)

SPRINGFIELD — Nixa’s girls soccer team lost 1–0 on penalty kicks to Springfield Parkview on Tuesday.
The teams were scoreless through regulation and two 10-minute overtimes, before Parkview converted on all five of its penalty kicks and Nixa converted on four.

NIXA — Kristin Miller posted her fourth straight shutout to lead Nixa’s soccer team past Camdenton 1–0 on Monday.
Lauren Moats had the lone goal and was assisted by Shelby Zielke.
Nixa is 3–1.
Bolivar downs Marshfield
Bolivar beat Marshfield 3–1 to improve to 3–0.
The Lady Liberators also own an 8–0 win over Branson adn a 4–1 win over Willard.

BRANSON — Nixa rolled to a 7–0 win over Branson on Tuesday.
Kristin Miller and Lexi Stagner shared time at goalkeeper for the Lady Eagles. Rachel Murphy recorded two goals, while Ashlyn Robillard, Lauren Moats, Jordyn Hoskins, Kelsey Bartell and Kelsey Haist all had one. Haist, Shelby Zielke, Courtney Frerichs and Miller all had an assist.
Nixa improved to 4–1.
The Lady Eagles won the jayvee match 8–0. Haylee Wagner had a hat trick.

Lady Eagles improve to 7–1 (Soccer roundup)

NIXA — Nixa’s soccer team collected a trio of wins over the weekend while upping its record to 7–1. The Lady Eagles beat Harrison (Ark.) 7–1, shut out Rogersville 4–0 and edged Dubourg 2–1 in penalty-kicks.
Rachel Murphy and Owen Goal both had two goals and one assists versus Harrison. Murphy also had a goal against Dubourg. Lauren Moats, Jo Pavlowsky, Brittany Kirkpatrick and Kelsey Bartell scored opposite Rogersville.
Nixa hosts Springfield Kickapoo on Monday.

The Lady Eagles’ Laruen Moats and Rachel Murphy recorded goals. Kelsey Haist and Maddie Chandler provided assists.
Nixa is 8–2.
The Lady Eagles’ jayvee won 6–1 to improve to 5−0−1.

SPRINGFIELD — Nixa lost 3–2 to Springfield Glendale on Monday, before bouncing back for an 8–0 triumph over Neosho on Tuesday.
Jo Pavlowsky and Kesley Bartell scored versus Glendale. Lauren Moats provided an assist.
Moats posted two goals and two assists against Neosho. Bartell, Maddie Chandler and Courtney Frerichs each had a goal and an assist.
Nixa is 10–3.

Brittany Kirkpatrick added two goals and Courtney Frerichs, Jordyn Hoskins and Kesley Haist each had one. Kelsey Bartell had three assists, while Haist, Ashlyn Robillard, Haylee Wagner and Tatum Mangum all had one.
Kristin Miller posted the shutout as Nixa’s goalkepper.
